Return Policy

Baby of Mine Return & Exchange Policy:

 

Before placing an order and completing payment for your purchase, we ask that you carefully read our store policy regarding merchandise returns and/or exchanges. If you have a question about any part or section of our return policy, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@babyofmineboutique.com.

Customer Satisfaction Is Our # 1 Priority:

 

Baby of Mine Boutique is dedicated to providing our customers with high-quality items at an affordable price. We want our customers to be completely satisfied with their orders, and we always strive to make sure that each customer has an enjoyable experience each and every time they shop on our website. If for some reason, you are not satisfied with your order, we ask that you contact us via email (info@babyofmineboutique.com) immediately to let us know, and we will always do what we can to fix or correct any issue or problem you may have, if possible.

 

Merchandise Returns:

 

Baby Of Mine Boutique does NOT accept returns/exchanges for custom, made-to-order items purchased from our website. Sales are considered final and non-refundable for these types of items. The majority of the items available for sale on our website are custom made-to-order and therefore not eligible for a return or exchange for any reason. Some examples of custom made-to-order items that are NOT eligible for a return/exchange are (but are not limited to) the following items:

 

  • Any item that has been personalized or monogrammed with a customer's name, intials, age, etc.
  • Clothing/apparel that was made to order according to a customer's specifications
  • Hair accessories (hats, headbands, hair bows, etc.)
  • Birthday apparel and/or accessories
  • Gifts (any item(s) listed in our Gift Shop categories)
  • Diaper cakes/wreaths
  • Infant and/or toddler car seat covers
  • Most shopping cart covers and/or high chair covers
  • Pacifiers
  • Jewelry
  • Dress-up clothing, costumes, super hero capes, etc.
  • Any item(s) listed within our "Tutus & Pettiskirts" sub-categories.

Note: Some items which are custom made-to-order and therefore ineligible for a return/exchange may not appear in the list above. Please contact us if you have questions about whether or not the items you are interested in purchasing are returnable and/or exchangeable prior to placing your order.

 

We may accept returns/exchanges for items purchased if one of the following conditions apply:

  • Item(s) received are defective or damaged.
  • Item(s) received are wrong and/or significantly different than the item(s) ordered. Note: This does not apply to item(s) purchased by mistake or due to customer error, nor does it apply to custom items which are slightly different in terms of appearance or style (i.e. polka dot ribbon instead of a solid color ribbon, alternate font style used for monogramming, etc.) Every custom made-to-order item is unique and therefore may not be exact replicas in terms of appearance or style of item shown in the photos on our website (i.e. variations in fabric patterns, hot pink flower instead of a candy pink flower, etc.) We can however, guarantee that the item(s) received will be of the exact same quality and craftsmanship as the item(s) shown in the photos on our website.

Before a request for a return/exchange can be approved, proof of damage or defect must be submitted to us via email. To prove your claim, you may be asked to provide digital photos of the item(s) received that clearly show the damaged or defected area(s) of the item(s). Note: Baby Of Mine Boutique reserves the right to refuse and/or deny any return/exchange request if it appears that the item(s) were damaged or defected after they were received by customer or due to a customer's intentional or unintentional mishandling or abuse of the item(s).

 

All return/exchange requests for damaged or defective items must be authorized and approved before the item(s) can returned. Baby Of Mine is not obligated to accept damaged or defected merchandise that has not been previously authorized or approved for a return. Wrong item(s) received claims are handled in the same manner as mentioned above. Return authorizations requests must be submitted via email to info@babyofmineboutique.com and must include the following information to be considered for approval:

  • Order ID # (can be found in the order confirmation email you received immediately after placing the order)
  • Customer name, email address, and shipping address
  • List of the item(s) in the order which are damaged, defective, etc.
  • Reason for return/exchange
  • Digital photos showing area(s) of damage or defect

We will contact you via email within 24 hours to discuss your claim and/or to request any additional information from you, if needed.

 

Items returned to us must have original tags, be unworn and unwashed, and include all original parts and/or accessories. All returned items are inspected for signs of use or damage before being accepted. Items returned due to damages or defects will be exchanged for another item that is undamaged, and identical (exact same) to the one originally purchased. We cannot exchange or accept returns for items that were ordered in the wrong size (i.e. an item does not fit correctly due to the custom measurements provided or due to a customer error in choosing the wrong size, color, etc.)

Note: Depending upon the item ordered, we may request that you return the merchandise to the original shipper (i.e. the designer or manufacturer). Returned merchandise will be handled and either be approved or disapproved based on the condition of the item(s) and the decision to accept the item will be left to the sole descretion of the original shipper.

The following items MUST be included in your return shipment:

Note: We are not responsible for any items or orders which are returned to us without prior authorization. Shipments which do not contain the above mentioned items and/or items which are returned in an unacceptable condition will be immediately disqualified for return/exchange.

Refund Policy:

Items which have been approved for a return or exchange and which qualify for a partial or full refund of the original order amount will be issued in the form of a store credit. A gift or credit voucher will be emailed to you within 5 to 7 business days of us having received your returned merchandise for the same amount you originally paid for the items. Store credits (gift vouchers) expire 12 months from the date issued and may be used towards the purchase of any item(s) listed within the same store category, or which are similar in nature to the item originally purchased.

 

 

The following rules apply to refunds issued in the form of store credits for returned merchandise:

  • Original shipping charges will not be refunded or included in the amount issued to a credit voucher.
  • When returning an item, it is the buyer’s responsibility to pay for all costs and fees associated with return shipping.
  • Credit vouchers may NOT be redeemed for cash or be used in conjunction with any other discount or promotional offers, store-wide sales and/or clearance events, etc. Credit vouchers are non-transferable and will not be replaced if lost or sold by customer.

Refund Policy for Out-Of-Stock or Discontinued Items:

Baby Of Mine Boutique is a retailer for dozens of different designers, manufacturers, vendors, etc., and it can be difficult to keep account of the "in-stock" status of each and every item on our website. On rare occassions, an item or items may be purchased which are out-of-stock, discontinued, temporarily unavailable, etc. and therefore are not available for purchase from the designer, manufacturer, vendor, etc. If you purchase an item that is unavailable for any of the above mentioned reasons, we will contact you via email to let you know about the status of the item and give you the opportunity to either choose another item to replace the one that is unavailable, or, we will issue you a refund for the amount you paid for the item. The credit will be issued back to the credit card or Pay Pal account that was used to make the original purchase.

 

Note: Baby Of Mine Boutique reserves the right to deny or refuse any request for a return or exchange for any reason if the designer, manufacturer, vendor, etc. of the item(s) purchased does not accept returns and/or exchanges.
